How to choose a high bay light for your warehouse or barn

-According to ceiling height

LED high bay lights are more energy efficient than conventional light sources, so it will be brighter than this type of light at the same power level. In general, we recommend a 100w LED high bay light with a ceiling height of 10-14 feet, a 150-degree ceiling of 15-22 feet, and a 200w-250w of 23 feet or more. - According to illumination requirements

Different buildings have different lighting requirements. The lighting of the warehouse or barn is a 20-30 foot candle. In fact, we need to be brighter, and then some customers require that the lighting should be 40 foot candles.

-In relation to the power of traditional LED lights

If you are using a traditional LED and are not satisfied with the brightness, or want to be brighter, we recommend that you try to replace the traditional 250w lamp with a 100w-150w LED high bay light. Compared to the traditional 400w lamp, you can also choose the 150w-200w LED high bay light.

-By light quality

Good lighting will reduce installation and maintenance costs. But how do you know if the LED lights are good? First, we can look at the certification of the luminaire manufacturer and the quality of the luminaire driver. The life of an LED lamp depends on the life of the drive, so a high quality drive is naturally the basis for a high quality lamp. Currently, the best drive brands are Samsung, Philips and GE drives. The Adiding series of LED lights use a drive made by Samsung.
