As the largest manufacturer of LED high-bay lights in the United States, Adiding provides a number of high-bay lighting installations for companies in the surrounding suburbs. High-bay lighting is a popular choice when large, open-space equipment requires lighting solutions throughout a particular room or building.
Elevated lighting consists of suspended ceiling lights that illuminate large commercial spaces with ceiling heights greater than 20 feet (eg manufacturing facilities, warehouses, department stores, stadiums, etc.). Elevated luminaires are one of the better choices for these types of businesses because they are powerful light sources that can be illuminated vertically and horizontally to cover larger areas.
A metal halide (MH) high bay light is a HID (High Intensity Discharge) lamp that produces light with an electric arc and a mixed gas. Metal halides typically emit bright white light for up to 20,000 hours. Some of the disadvantages of this type are wasted energy and long warm-up time.
High-pressure sodium (HPS) high-bay lighting is another type of HID lamp. It is more efficient than your metal halide lamp holder and has a service life of up to 24,000 hours. Like metal halides, HPS has a longer warm-up time.
Fluorescent high-bay lighting fixtures have a different shape than metal halides and high-pressure sodium high-bay lighting fixtures. These are usually rectangular, while the other two are bell-shaped. Fluorescent lamps are more energy efficient than metal halides and high pressure sodium because they emit less heat. Depending on the type of fluorescent lamp, the service life may be between 20,000 and 30,000 hours.
The best choice for high-bay lighting is LED. LED high bay lights are better than the above three because they are more energy efficient, reducing maintenance and replacement costs. The LED warm-up time is different from metal halide and high-pressure sodium overhead lights, so you can easily turn them on and off. You can save on energy costs because they are very energy efficient, which means you can save money in the long run. The average life expectancy of LED high-bay lighting fixtures that need to be replaced is as long as 100,000 hours, much higher than the above-mentioned similar products. The only drawback of LEDs is the initial upfront cost, which is higher than other LEDs. However, as life expectancy increases and energy efficiency increases, you are looking for long-term savings.
Does your commercial property have high ceilings and large open areas that require better lighting? Call a licensed commercial electrician to install overhead lighting to illuminate your warehouse, facilities, gymnasium, department store, gym... list continues. High bay lighting is ideal for any of these businesses and other lighting with similar requirements and can be used to illuminate a wide area of the ceiling above 20 feet.
